Neon Genesis Evangelion is one of the old classic shonen and mecha anime. It has a great storyline, action, and amazing character designs by the series' creator, Yoshiyuki Sadamoto, who is also the writer and illustrator. Watch order of Neon Genesis Evangelion

1. Neon Genesis Evangelion (TV Series): The series's first part consists of 26 original episodes that streamed from 1995 to 1996. The story follows the main protagonist of the series, Shinji Ikari, who is a young school teen who pilots the giant mecha robot Evangelion to fight against the Angels, who are the giant alien-like beast that came to earth so they can destroy humanity.

2. End of Evangelion (Movie): This is the first movie of Neon Genesis Evangelion, which was released on July 19, 1997. The only difference this movie and the TV series have that it have different ending or you can say different storyline at the end of the movie else starting part of the movie is quite similar to the TV series.

3. Evangelion 1.11: You Are (Not) Alone: This 2007 release covers the whole TV series but has better animation.

4. Evangelion 2.22: You Can (Not) Advance: This movie, which came out in 2009, continues the story but with some different twists.

5. Evangelion 3.33: You Can (Not) Redo: This movie has a different plot and also has a further storyline.

6. Evangelion: Death (True): This is one of the movies that shows all different stories that are not related to the Neon Genesis Evangelion main storyline as it covers a different story of four traumatized 14-year-old pilots that pilot the Evangelion post the 15 years after a near-apocalyptic catastrophe. In this movie also, the pilot fights against the Angels to save humanity.
