With season 2 ending with its 26th episode officially released this past weekend, many viewers are pondering the idea of starting the Tower of God manhwa. While there are many reasons why switching to the original source material is appealing, one of the most significant is the lack of season 3 info as of this article’s writing. Considering there were over four years between season 1 and season 2, many are understandably concerned.

However, one of the most daunting issues in beginning the Tower of God manhwa is the source material’s unique organizational structure in terms of chapters and parts. Thankfully, there is an apparent best point at which to jump into the series following season 2’s events, which can be nailed down to an exact chapter in the series.

These parts are then broken up into story arcs, which are broken up into smaller sub-arcs (typically lasting several chapters).

Season 2 of the television anime series begins with the manhwa’s Part 2 Prologue, or chapter “0” of Part 2. Season 2 fully adapts the first major arc of Part 2, which is The Workshop Battle arc. This ends in the 110th chapter of Part 2 overall. Thus, fans looking to begin the Tower of God manhwa following season 2’s events can begin with Part 2, chapter 111, which marks the start of Part 2’s second arc, The Hell Train arc.

This is the same Hell Train mentioned by Hwaryun in the season 2 finale, with Bam and his allies eventually successfully reaching it. The Hell Train serves as the primary setting for the next 200-plus chapters of the series from that point on, with a vast majority of Bam’s larger group of allies boarding the train with him. While there are some exceptions, core characters such as, but not limited to, Khun Aguero Agnes and Rak Wraithraiser are present on the train.

Fans also have additional material in the Tower of God manhwa to read beyond The Hell Train arc. Part 2 itself offers one more arc before its conclusion, which then leads into Part 3.
