Soon, the One Piece animation, directed by Netflix and produced by Wit Studio, will be available to see on television. There is no information available regarding when that might occur.

Masashi Koizuka on The One Piece remake

Masashi Koizuka was chosen as the director of THE ONE PIECE and acknowledged as a One Piece fan and stated that he intended to oversee the One Piece remake series for a very long time. He claims that a big part of the series' longevity will rely on how well it does and how well it is received. Fans will undoubtedly get to see the anime run for many years to come if it is a hit and appreciated by everyone.

But fans can be certain that this anime will be truly amazing and a huge success because of the success of One Piece, the love that people have for it, and the fact that the staff is putting in a ton of work to create it. The One Piece anime on Netflix is expected to be a long-running series that will last for roughly ten years.

Here is a staff interview from Wit Studio regarding the One Piece remake.

There is no information regarding the anime's weekly schedule, similar to the existing Toei version, or whether it will be a seasonal series. One Piece is probably going to be a seasonal series if they intend to imitate present anime.

Additionally, there is a hybrid option in which they just take breaks between seasons rather than sticking to a specific amount of episodes, continuing in a way that is unique to this particular adaptation for the duration of the show. Of course, this is all just speculation, and they will have to wait and see what strategy they decide to pursue.
