Who is the main villain in Konosuba?

The Demon King, or the Devil King, also goes by the name Kyouichi Yasaka, the main Antagonist in the KonoSuba: God's Blessing on this Wonderful World. However, Demon King did not appear in the manga series but mentioned in the light novel.

Konosuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! is a comedic fantasy series. It follows Kazuma Satou, a teenager who dies and is allowed to be reborn in a magical world. He chooses to bring along Aqua, a goddess who isn’t as helpful as he hoped. Together with Megumin, a mage obsessed with explosions, and Darkness, a devotee with unusual preferences, they form a quirky adventuring party.

History of the Demon King

The Demon King, Kyoichi Yasaka, is the main villain in the Konosuba series. He has been waging a war against the kingdom of Belzerg and the entire world. His presence causes all monsters in the Parallel World to grow stronger.

Kyoichi Yasaka later became the Demon King after replacing the past demon king and then inherited all the powers from him to become more powerful and also distributed his power to his daughters and other demon generals which made his army more strong.

The Demon King usually stays in his castle, protected by a powerful barrier that can withstand even the strongest attacks from the Crimson Demons.

Abilities of the Demon King

The Demon King is incredibly powerful, though he is past his prime. His main ability is Power Boost, which greatly enhances the strength of his allies when they are near him. This makes even weak creatures as strong as his generals. He resists non-enchanted attacks and is likely immune to debuffs and instant kill effects. Despite transferring most of his powers to his daughter, he remains a significant threat due to his strategic mind and remaining abilities. He can crush an ogre’s skull with his bare hands and move faster than Kazuma can see, even after being buffed. His magical abilities include teleportation, creation magic, and advanced spells like Cursed Lightning and Inferno.

Fights Involving the Demon King

In the final battle, Kazuma and his allies invade the Demon King’s castle. Kazuma faces the Demon King alone and sacrifices himself to kill the Demon King and bring peace to the world.
