Of the numerous characters yet to appear in the Solo Leveling anime, Kadiaru might be one of the most crucial to the plotline due to his importance in Jinwoo's life. With Jinwoo currently fortifying the powers he received through the Double Dungeon, he will eventually meet the one who granted him these powers after returning to the place where it all started.

Kadiaru (also known as The Architect) is the hidden boss of the Double Dungeon, the System's creator, and the creator of the Statue of God (the statue with the creepy smile). He crossed paths with the protagonists after the latter reached a certain level and decided to go back to the Double Dungeon to learn how he achieved his powers.

During some time in the past, inspired by the Absolute Being (the being that existed before everything), Kadiaru created the Statue of God and branded it his magnum opus. This was the start of his journey as the Architect, a title he carried until the series' sequel, Solo Leveling: Ragnarok, officially unveiled his name.

Before this happened, in ancient times, when Monarchs fought against the Rulers with the world at stake, Kadiaru emerged from the darkness and offered a hand to an aged Ashborn (the Shadow Monarch). Kadiaru wanted to help him find a proper vessel so that he could become eternal, and as expected, the Shadow Monarch agreed. After this, Kadiaru created the System to look for a proper vessel for Ashborn.

Unfortunately, no creature worthy of the Shadow Monarch was found until the Shadow Monarch saw Jinwoo dying while fighting the Statue of God. Despite Kadiaru not being in favor of a human being becoming Ashborn's vessel, the Shadow Monarch chose Jinwoo as his vessel, and the Architect was now adamant on killing Jinwoo.

So, during the Double Dungeon arc, when Jinwoo reached level 100 and the Architect called Jinwoo back to where he got his powers, the stage was set for Jinwoo's execution. To Kadiaru's despair, Jinwoo slayed anyone who came his way until Kadiaru entered the battle, trying to kill the protagonist. As expected, the Architect was also outclassed.

After getting defeated, Kadiaru waited for Ashborn to take over his vessel (Jinwoo) so that he could stand again. Again, to Kadiaru's despair, he was betrayed, and Ashborn had given his heart to the protagonist, giving rise to a new Shadow Monarch. In his last breaths, the Architect cursed Jinwoo and screamed over getting beaten up by a human.

Leaving his history aside, who is Kadiaru in Solo Leveling as a fighter? Undoubtedly, he was a skilled fighter as he had numerous limbs and old weapons. Being the Architect, he had a unique skill set, some overpowered moves, and the ability to counter the protagonist.

Having extraordinary speed, strength, and durability like every strong character, what stood out were Kadiaru's abilities as the Architect. Being the creator of the System, Kadiaru could easily manipulate it and could have removed all of Jinwoo's power if Ashborn hadn't stripped him of all his authority. Moreover, just like the protagonist, he had the 'Ruler's Authority,' which allowed him to control objects once marked.

Final thoughts

After knowing who Kadiaru from Solo Leveling is, the fans would realize that he was a strong character who faced Jinwoo in the wrong place and time. With season 2 right around the corner, there is little chance that he might appear. However, as the first season added some easter eggs, he might also receive a cameo or something similar in the sequel.
