Now that the Neo-Egoist League arc is about to be over, the fandom wants to know who is Lavinho in Blue Lock. Just like the other master forward players in the series, Lavinho is another talented player. However, given how he was introduced a while ago in the story, the fandom might have forgotten who he was and what he was capable of.

Lavinho is the coach of Spain's FC Barcha and a forward from the Brazilian National Team. Introduced at the start of the Neo-Egoist League arc, the coach showed his talent as one of the top football players. Known mostly for his dribbling skills, Lavinho has showcased talent similar to that of famous football stars like Ronaldinho and Neymar Jr.

Introduced in Blue Lock chapter 155, Lavinho was introduced as a top football player in the world and was appointed as coach/master of Neo-Egoist League's FC Barcha. On his first appearance, he was a free-spirited football player and the same spirit could be seen in his match against Noel Noa's Bastard Munchen, which was the first match of the Neo-Egoist League.

Lavinho believed in his abilities to the point that he was confident that he could beat anyone in the world. As the first-choice striker of the Brazilian national team, he brought this confidence to the Neo-Egoist League. The match between FC Barcha and Bastard Muchen was where Lavinho showed his worth to the world.

Even though he was not the best footballer in the world, he surprised the entire Bastard Muchen team by giving Noel Noa, the best player in the world, a run for his money. Unfortunately, his team faced defeat due to Kunigami's last-minute goal, and this was Lavinho's last appearance in the series.

As the coach of FC Barcha and a member of the Brazilian national team, Lavinho possessed talent and was one of the most potent forward position players on the field. Of all his abilities as a footballer, his dribbling was of key notice due to how amazing it was compared to that of a normal player.

Some of his moves include the Ginga Style, where the player combines capoeira (Brazilian martial arts) to his gameplay. This enhances his speed on the field and makes him look like a butterfly floating through the field.

Another one of his signature moves is the Rising Dance, where Lavinho utilizes the position of opposition players on the field. In a two vs one against Lavinho, the Brazillian footballer uses a rainbow flick (using both legs to bounce the ball above a player) to cross one player and use the same player as a shield to escape the other player.

Surprisingly, both of these moves have been displayed by real-life footballers Neymar Jr. and Ronaldinho Gaúcho and these players have also played for the Brazillian national team. Apart from that, the style and personality of Lavinho also resonate with these real-life players, more towards Ronaldinho, hinting that he might be inspired by them.

Final thoughts

Despite being a talented gem, Lavinho couldn't do much for his team as he has lost all of the matches in the Neo-Egoist League except the last one (which is currently ongoing in the manga). However, through his talent as a top-rated football player from Brazil, the FC Barcha coach proved he was a force to reckon with once in a one-on-one on the field.
