Tower of God fans often ask "Who is Urek Mazino?" because of his role in the second season of the anime, adapted by The Answer Studio, and the powers he has managed to display. As of this writing in the manhwa, he is an Irregular and is sitting in fourth place in Rank while also being the strongest Ranker at the moment in the story.

Urek Mazino is also a peculiar case in Tower of God because he is the most recent person to be part of the Top 5 High Rankers inside the Tower and also someone whose strength has been compared to that of Phantaminum, although this was stated by weaker Rankers.

His encounter with Baam, the main character of the series, on the 43rd Floor was a highly anticipated moment of the anime as well, and the studio delivered in that regard.

Urek Mazino's role in Tower of God is serving as an obstacle to overcome since he is one of the strongest characters in the series. This was shown in episode 6 of the second season of the anime adaptation as his encounter and initial fight with Baam was one of the most anticipated moments in the entire production.

He also helps to set the story in terms of power levels and the difference between the main cast and the strongest within the Tower. Moreover, it could be argued that Urek Mazino serves as a bit of a wildcard when compared to other people at the Tower because he seems to follow his own motivation and his own reasons.

Urek Mazino is the fastest person to climb the Inner Tower through an orthodox method and one of the strongest characters in the entirety of the series, hence why a lot of people ask questions about who he is. Moreover, his journey started when he tracked down Phantaminum and got inside the Tower, only taking about fifty years to walk through its entire inner city.

It was during this time period that took Arie Hon's special test on the 100th Floor and the task was for Urek to endure his attacks for 10 minutes, but the latter fought evenly and passed the former's special test.

This led to him becoming the most famous Ranker in the Tower and caused a lot of problems with the High Rank rankings because they saw him as a notorious and annoying threat.

While Urek Mazino is depicted with the title of Fisherman, he is capable of excelling in every single Position in the series. That is another reason why a lot of people tend to ask "Who is Urek Mazino?" since he is a master in a lot of different abilities, including Shinsoo Control, with even the God of Guardians claiming that he was stronger than him when he was just a Regular.

His most powerful ability in Tower of God is the Supreme King's Scorching Fist of Death, which he dubs as legendary. This attack allowed him to incapacitate, severely injure, and almost kill Viole in a single strike, even though he chose to use this attack at a minimum.
