Why Does Nobody Remember Me in This World episode 11 recap
Episode 11 of Why Does Nobody Remember Me in This World anime, titled Where Fate Lies, started with the continuation of the accidental battle between the combined forces of the Urza and Yulun Rebel Armies and the Hero of the Spirits, Rikugen Kyoko.
However, their battle came to an unexpected halt when Rikugen took notice of Kai's Code Holder and started recollecting memories of the Prophet Sid and the original world. According to her, the World Reincarnation was the beginning of what would come. That said, before she could reveal anything else, she was attacked by the Last Riser, whose sudden appearance was seemingly triggered by Rikugen regaining her memories.
After a brief scuffle, the Hero of the Spirits managed to easily repel the Last Riser's attack, following which she proposed a ceasefire with the Urza and Yulun Rebel forces. She also revealed that the Last Riser didn't belong to any of the other Five Races and was considered an enemy of the world.
The latter half of the episode saw Kai and his group entering a nearby megalith along with Rikugen Kyoko, where his Code Holder suddenly played a voice recording of Sid. The Prophet explained that he had made a grave mistake and could not protect Rinne, following which Code Holder transported them to the mysterious dimension where Kai came across Rinne for the first time.
In the new dimension, they came across Alfreya's body frozen in place with petrification magic. Suddenly, the Last Riser appeared before Kai and his group and transported Jeanne, Reiren, Falin, and the commander of the Yulun forces out of the dimension and back to the megalith.
From thereon, the Last Riser engaged in a fierce battle against Kai, Rikugen, and Rinne. Towards the end of the episode, Kai used the Code Holder to open a gateway back to the megalith, where they lured the Last Riser right into one of Rikugen's strongest attacks, which destroyed the formidable creature.
However, things suddenly turned for the worse when another Last Riser showed up inside the megalith and commenced its attack on Kai and Rinne, raising an extraordinary amount of hype for Why Does Nobody Remember Me in This World episode 12.
