One of the most incredible moments in Danmachi season 5 was when Goddess Freya used her beauty to charm the people of Orario and altered their perception of Bell, who no longer existed as a Hestia Familia member in their minds. Instead, Freya modified Bell's identity as a Freya Familia member.
Goddess Freya's excessive obsession with Bell pushed her to change Orario. Since she couldn't charm Bell, Freya had to cast her spell on others and actualize her dreams. That said, it would have been easier for Freya if she could only charm Bell. So, why didn't Freya's charm work on Bell Cranel in Danmachi season 5?
According to Fujino Omori's light novels, Freya's charms didn't work on Bell Cranel due to his skill, Liaris Freese, which made him immune to Freya's charms. Bell's Liarus Freese gained its strength from his affection for Ais Wallenstein. It's an overpowered skill because it helped him repel a charm, which worked on everyone, irrespective of mortals and immortals (Gods & Goddesses).

Exploring Bell Cranel's Liaris Freese and how it made him immune to Freya's charm in Danmachi season 5
In Danmachi season 5, Freya used her charm on Bell for the first time as Syr, during their date night at an isolated inn. Overcome with an intense desire for Bell, Freya (Syr) subconsciously used her charm to make Bell hers. Her eyes glowed pink and it momentarily trapped the boy. Yet suddenly, Bell broke out of the spell, leaving Freya ashamed of herself.
That's when Freya realized she couldn't charm Bell Cranel. Thus, when her negotiations with Hestia failed, the Goddess of Beauty decided to change Orario. So, why did her charm fail on Bell? As mentioned, Bell Cranel's Liaris Freese skill made him immune to the Goddess' charms in Danmachi season 5.
According to volume 1 of the original light novel series, Bell Cranel gained the skill after he fell in love with Ais, who saved him from a Minotaur in the dungeon. Bell Cranel's Liaris Freese skill increased the speed of his growth. That's how he acquired stat boosts exponentially.
Most importantly, the skill's effectiveness or strength relied on the strength of Bell's feelings. As such, Bell Cranel's deep affection for Ais Wallenstein fueled his Liaris Freese. Yet, as a side effect, the skill made him immune to charms, including Freya's in Danmachi season 5. Goddess Hestia knew how overpowered and valuable the skill was, so she decided to keep it hidden.
On the other hand, Goddess Freya knew she couldn't charm Bell Cranel because of his skill. That's why she wanted to brainwash the boy and consequently weaken his Liaris Freese skill. She did everything to convince the boy that his memories of the Hestia Familia were an effect of a curse.
According to the light novel, Freya told Bell that he always belonged to the Freya Familia. She hoped the boy's affection for Ais and his deep connection to the Hestia Familia would weaken. That's how she could ultimately charm Bell and satisfy her goal.
Conclusion
Bell Cranel's Liaris Freese came in clutch, as it resisted Freya's charm in Danmachi season 5. That's why the Goddess of Beauty came up with a different ploy to achieve her dreams. She plunged Bell into despair, robbing him of his identity.
The boy questioned the reality around him, wondering whether his memories as a Hestia Familia member were a figment of his imagination. Yet, the power within Bell's feelings didn't allow him to succumb to Freya's plans.
