With Jujutsu Kaisen manga inching towards its end, the series has seen several shocking developments. One such development is the seemingly ever-changing appearance of Ryomen Sukuna's Domain Malevolent Shrine. While the King of Curses' domain is known to be one of the strongest, it seems it is deteriorating with every passing minute.
The manga's previous chapter revealed how Yuta Okkotsu took over Satoru Gojo's body by using Kenjaku's Cursed Technique. This allowed him to use Gojo's Six Eyes and activate his Domain Unlimited Void to fight Sukuna. However, Sukuna activated his domain at the same time, leaving the two sorcerers at a possible stalemate.

Jujutsu Kaisen: Gojo's Unlimited Void might be why Sukuna's domain has become ever-changing
Since the start of the Shinjuku Showdown Arc in Jujutsu Kaisen manga, the series has seen Ryomen Sukuna activate his domain Malevolent Shrine several times. However, it seems like his domain has slowly started deteriorating.
This is because his previous two Malevolent Shrines looked nowhere close to the domain's original look. There was no shrine. Instead, the entire domain behind Sukuna looked like a big horror.
Upon observing this, one Jujutsu Kaisen fan, u/Independent_King7606 on Reddit, asked others what Sukuna's ever-changing domain meant. There, some fans explained how Gojo's Unlimited Void messed up Sukuna's brain and mental landscape. That essentially changed the way Malevolent Shrine looked.
Apparently, after suffering from Unlimited Void's damage, the King of Curses could no longer summon his original Malevolent Shrine. This is because the "pathways in his brain" got affected, forcing him to create a Binding Vow that saw a different part of his brain take the load of performing Domain Expansion.
Such a development essentially allowed Sukuna to manifest the Malevolent Shrine, though it could stay active for a limited time. This is also the reason why his newer Domain Expansions can be done one-handed rather than with two hands.
Hence, it can be stated with certainty that, despite Satoru Gojo having passed away long ago, the Strongest Sorcerer still has the upper hand against Ryomen Sukuna. Such a development has helped the Jujutsu Sorcerers to keep piling up the pressure on the King of Curses.
With this in mind, there also lies the possibility that Ryomen Sukuna may soon suffer far worse consequences due to the damage to his brain. Such a development could help the Jujutsu Sorcerers win against the King of Curses.
As of now, from the alleged Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 262 spoilers, it seems like Sukuna has defeated Yuta Okkotsu. Hence, some other Jujutsu Sorcerer may soon be forced to take over the fight. Hopefully, Rika Orimoto's full manifestation could somehow help the Jujutsu Sorcerers in their battle.
