Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 268's alleged leaks delivered the final moments of Sukuna as he was scraped off from Megumi Fushiguro's body. Although Sukuna's getting reduced to nothingness and Uraume's choosing to pass on soon after were among the biggest events of this chapter, the reveal of Gojo's final message became the main topic of discussion within the fandom.

The actual messages to Nobara and Megumi were very short but Gojo's message to Megumi simply ended up being the reveal of Gojo killing Megumi's father. Given Gojo's impact on the overall story and the lives of his students, many fans expected the message to be a much more impactful one.

In Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 268's alleged spoilers, Gojo's last messages to Megumi and Nobara were revealed. Gojo's letter to Nobara included details about her mother and her current situation.

Meanwhile, his message to Megumi involved the revelation that he had killed Megumi's father. Although many fans believe these last words were lackluster, the short and almost frivolous tone of his message perfectly concludes everything that Gojo's character had built.

Gojo has been the most over-the-top and eccentric character in the series since its early chapters. His essentially aloof and carefree persona was intertwined with his overwhelming strength and position as the "strongest" within the Jujutsu society.

Despite being regarded as the "god" of the Jujutsu society, with every aspect forced to conform to his whims, Gojo wanted to use his influence to change the society and remove its malicious aspects. However, he realized that merely dealing with the upper management would solve nothing. This realization led him to become a teacher, hoping to change the next generation and indirectly alter the Jujutsu society at its core.

Although Gojo's ideals were lofty, he maintained his aloof persona while nurturing his students. His deep care for them was evident when he contemplated annihilating the entire upper management after they sent Yuji to his death. Gojo's persona revolved around being a confident and powerful individual who cared deeply about his students and the next generation of sorcerers.

Gojo's bond with his students was strong, leaving almost nothing for him to reveal to them. The different training methods and philosophies an individual should follow were deeply ingrained in his students. Gojo could not leave behind any words of encouragement or "tips to get stronger" because such strength is found by the individuals themselves. Therefore, his final words simply addressed the remaining mysteries in his students' lives.

Toji had left Megumi and Tsumiki at an early age and never returned. Although Gojo took him in, Megumi's father remained the only mysterious and troublesome topic in his life, which Gojo resolved. Additionally, Nobara's parents were not mentioned in her flashbacks, and Gojo's message to her revealed that her family had personal issues that might have led to a separation, leaving this as the sole issue in her life.

Gojo had nothing more to teach them, so he resolved their individual issues with his final messages, encapsulating his frivolous yet deeply caring nature. While his message to Yuji has not been revealed, it is possible that he told Yuji about his lineage, including how Kenjaku was his mother and Sukuna was his uncle in spirit.

Final Thoughts

Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 268's alleged leaks ended with the surviving Jujutsu sorcerers coming together to "help" Yuta. Yuta's copy technique had a timer of 5 minutes which expired during his fight in chapter 263, chapter 268's dialogue simply confirms that Yuta is still alive somehow and is facing some issues. It is possible that Rika has something to do with that and Yuta needs all of the sorcerers to somehow deal with Rika.

Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 268 will be officially released on September 1, 2024.
