Why Gojo's Six Eyes overshadows his innate genius in Jujutsu Kaisen, explored

In Jujutsu Kaisen, Satoru Gojo stood as an unmatchable force in the world of Jujutsu Sorcery. While his mastery of combat, keen intellect, and peerless innovation in battle strategy are key to his overwhelming power, the Six Eyes give him the true edge.

An Innate Technique inherited through the Gojo Family, the Six Eyes, enhances his perception and Cursed Energy (CE) efficiency to a nearly uneven degree, amplifying all his other techniques. Gojo's genius cannot be denied - adaptability, battle IQ, and proficiency in multiple techniques make him a formidable foe even without the Six Eyes.

However, this extraordinary ability complements his skill and redefines his potential. It allows him to manage Limitless with near-perfect precision, turning a harrowing task into effortless control. Such a unique blend of talent and innate ability makes Gojo an unrivaled powerhouse.

Jujutsu Kaisen: Gojo's Six Eyes eclipses his natural brilliance

Jujutsu Kaisen never really delved deeper into Gojo Satoru's Six Eyes. All that is known is that it is an innate technique inherited through the Gojo Family. Further, it enables Gojo to drastically reduce his CE consumption from technique activation to nearly zero. Thus, he would never exhaust his CE during battle. Also, using Six Eyes, Gojo perceives everything in terms of mass, speed, energy, etc.

It will forever remain one of Jujutsu Kaisen's greatest mysteries. Given the abilities bestowed by Six Eyes, Gojo's innate talent might be overshadowed. The series implies that Gojo possesses an immense reserve of CE, which is more effective thanks to the Six Eyes effect. Moreover, Six Eyes, which is used in conjunction with Limitless, means that the technique can be kept active endlessly.

Moving ahead, Six Eyes likely allows Gojo to exist without a hitch in his Domain, Infinite Void. The concept of Gojo's Domain is that it overloads its target's brain with an endless flow of information, disabling their brain from processing it and hence rendering them paralyzed (as seen with Jogo). If Gojo didn't have Six Eyes, it is possible that he wouldn't be able to use his Domain as effectively.

In that case, his Domain may probably have turned out differently. Essentially, Gojo's Domain doesn't attack like Malevolent Shrine; rather, it paralyzes its target. Moreover, like a regular Domain, there is a barrier. So, without Six Eyes, Gojo's Domain might have been something else.

Gojo is talented nonetheless

While Six Eyes significantly boosts his abilities, Gojo remains a prodigy. Hypothetically, if Six Eyes is taken away, Gojo will possess a lot under his sleeve, making him a force to reckon with. To begin with, he would still inherit Limitless from his clan/family. Though it wouldn't be as active throughout as it used to be, it would still prove crucial in the battle to protect him.

Again, needless to mention, Gojo was adept at hand-to-hand combat. An example of his proficiency was when he tussled with Miguel and Sukuna (the first time he met Yuji Itadori). Next, he likely developed immense strength, speed, reflexes, and endurance through the Gojo Clan's training. Moreover, he developed a keen battle IQ thanks to his past battles and sharp intellect.

He can also use Black Flash, albeit unlike Yuji, but uses it nonetheless. Here, the use of Limitless and its associated techniques would probably trouble Gojo. Without Six Eyes, he would have to be extremely mindful and judicious in his use of CE, and his Infinity, Blue, and Red would be weaker (he can't use Purple without Six Eyes). Also, it might be that his Domain would get altered since he wouldn't be able to process its effect as easily as he did.

Moving forward, Gojo was one of the few sorcerers capable of using the Reverse Cursed Technique (RCT). He awakened this ability following his encounter with Toji Fushiguro. Finally, Gojo was able to use Anti-main techniques, such as Simple Domain and Falling Blossom Emotion (a secret technique he learned as a child). This also extends to his Curtain, a barrier technique to seal off areas of his choice.

In conclusion

It is only right to acknowledge that with or without Six Eyes, Gojo was a genius. He possesses regular Jujutsu sorcerer abilities and more, but Six Eyes enhances these abilities. This innate technique allows him to control his Limitless effortlessly, cast his Domain, and last the longest in battle with a seemingly endless reserve of CE.

In a way, Six Eyes does overshadow Gojo's natural talent since much of what he can do links back to this trait. But then again, it can also be viewed as another tool in his arsenal that makes him unique. Each sorcerer boasts a distinct trait that separates them from the rest, and this particular one is Gojo's.

Without it, he might not have been "The Strongest Sorcerer of the Modern Day," but he would, without a doubt, be a formidable force and an influential figure in Jujutsu Society.
