With the release of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 12, the manga saw both Boruto and Sarada get taken down by God Tree Jura in an attempt to retrieve Hidari's Thorn Soul Bulb. This development effectively concluded Sarada's fight against the God Trees for now.
While many fans would agree that manga creators Masashi Kishimoto and Mikio Ikemoto had used Sarada well in the recent fights, a fraction of them could disagree. This is because, despite Sarada having unlocked the Mangekyo Sharingan in the prequel manga, she hadn't used the technique against the God Trees in the sequel series.
However, there is good reason to believe that Sarada not using her "trump card" this early in the series was perfect for the character's development.

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex: Sarada not using her Mangekyo Sharingan against God Trees is perfect for her character development
While many fans must have wished to witness Sarada Uchiha using her Mangekyo Sharingan in the fight against Jura and Hidari, it made sense why she did not use it. As fans might remember, unlike other Uchihas, Sarada had not unlocked her Mangekyo Sharingan due to the death of a close one but from the fear of losing someone, which in her case was Boruto.
Hence, evidently, her Mangekyo Sharingan was quite special from an emotional standpoint. Thus, the dojutsu making its debut this early in the series does not make much sense as it needed an even bigger build-up. Moreover, given Sarada unlocked her Mangekyo Sharingan due to the fear of losing Boruto, it only makes sense from a narrative standpoint that she uses it to protect him from another life-threatening event.
Additionally, fans must remember that except for Sarada, her father Sasuke Uchiha was the only person who had the dojutsu. Hence, no one could train the kunoichi to use her upgraded dojutsu powers. Fans must also remember that only Sasuke Uchiha knew about Sarada's Manegkyo Sharingan, thus it is very likely that Sarada herself had no clue that her dojutsu had reached a new level.
Therefore, it made perfect sense that Sarada Uchiha did not use her Mangekyo Sharingan against God Trees Jura and Hidari. It is very possible that the Boruto: Two Blue Vortex manga could see both Boruto and Sarada recover from their injuries and begin training to improve themselves in battle.
Following that, the manga could feature Sarada using her Mangekyo Sharingan against God Tree Hidari in a possible solo rematch. Considering how Sarada was Hidari's target, it only made sense that she either faced the God Tree alone or unironically, alongside her mother Sakura. Such a development could see the mother-daughter combo work together to bring back their close one.
That said, given how the Boruto series is meant to focus on the next generation of Shinobi, it is much more likely that Sarada Uchiha would face the God Tree alone. Such a fight could lead to a lot of character development for the Boruto: Two Blue Vortex's main female lead.
