While the Fourth Hokage Minato Namikaze was known to be a very powerful character in the Naruto universe, fans often think of ways to make him stronger. Given that he already possessed Kurama Chakra, the next upgrade that could make him stronger would have been the Sharingan.

As fans would know, while Minato Namikaze was one of the best Shinobi in the Hidden Leaf Village's history, he never possessed a dojutsu. Thus, having one could help him reach new heights, effectively changing the entire power scaling of the Narutoverse.

How strong would Naruto's Minato have been if he possessed the Sharingan?

Minato Namikaze could have been the strongest character in the Narutoverse if he possessed the Sharingan. This is because he was already an overpowered character. Hence, possessing the Sharingan could have only increased his potential.

As fans might remember from Kakashi Hatake's flashback, while he did create the Chidori, he needed the Sharingan to gain control over the jutsu. Similarly, as fans would know, Minato Namikaze was already one of the fastest shinobi in history due to his Flying Raijin Jutsu.

Hence, the mere possibility that Sharingan could have given him improved reflexes was terrifying. Such speed and control would have made him untouchable in battle.

Other than that, he could have also become a Copy Ninja like Kakashi but better. Minato was already quite strong, so him imbuing every new jutsu that he saw in his arsenal would have been too overpowering.

In addition, Sharingan would have also given Minato a good handle on Genjutsu. As evident from the series, Minato was never a great Genjutsu user. Hence, having Sharingan would have given him the option to use illusions to trick his enemies and mess with their minds amid a battle.

Lastly, fans mustn't forget that possessing a Sharingan would have allowed Minato to see Chakra, pinpoint weak spots in his enemies' defenses, and exploit them accordingly. With such upgrades, Minato would have become unstoppable.

But what if he were to attain the Mangekyo Sharingan? Firstly, the upgraded dojutsu would have given him unique abilities like Amaterasu, Kamui, Tsukuyomi, etc. Each of these jutsu were overpowering on their own. Hence, Minato having them in his arsenal would have been a game-changer for the Narutoverse.

But that's not all as Mangekyo Sharingan would have also allowed Minato Namikaze to use Susanoo, the ultimate shield. Using the same with his Kurama chakra mode would have allowed him to do what Naruto and Sasuke did together against Momoshiki Otsutsuki in the Boruto anime.

Overall, if Minato Namikaze had attained the Sharingan, he could have possibly become a shinobi who was stronger than Naruto and Sasuke combined at their peak. This would have effectively made him the strongest character in the series.

Not to mention, such a development would have seen the series' plot flow in a different direction. The first major development could have been Minato taking control of the Kurama and preventing his death alongside that of Kushina Uzumaki.

Following that, he could have apprehended Obito Uchiha, effectively stopping all the developments surrounding the Akatsuki and Fourth Shinobi World War. That said, it is up to fans' assumption whether Minato would have still made himself and his son the Jinchuriki of the Nine-Tailed Fox.
