Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 263 was released on July 15, 2024. The chapter saw the conclusion of the battle of the domains and the battle shifted to the outside where Itadori hit Sukuna with a Dismantle attack that caused the King of Curses to vomit out of his fingers

The chapter also saw Todo's Boogie Woogie back in action which helped Itadori land Dismantle on Sukuna. The climax of the chapter saw the return of Hana Kurusu who used Jacob's Ladder on the King of Curses

The Diamantle Itadori used weakened Sukuna's control over Megumi's body and the King of Curses had to swallow his fingers again to avoid the host, Megumi, taking over his body.

After Ryomen Sukuna exited the domain, Itadori jumped towards him in hopes of destroying him. Yuta also tried to join but Gojo's body had given up and all he could do was lie on the ground and see how the events turned out. Itadori was assisted by Aoi's Boogie Woogie which gave him an opening to hit Sukuna with his newly awakened cursed technique.

The protagonist directed his blow at the barrier between Sukuna and Megumi's body, which caused some of Sukuna's fingers to get out of the body. The King of Curses, however, immediately swallowed them to avoid giving Megumi's soul a chance to take over his body again.

Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 263 commenced with Sukuna flying out of the domain after getting hit with Yuta's Hollow Purple. Yuta also exited the domain as Aoi and Itadori were ready to fight. Unfortunately, Gojo's body had reached its limit and fell, indicating that Yuta would be out of the fight for a while.

Aoi and Itadori didn't give up and continued their fight with the King of Curses. With Itadori doing the hand-to-hand combat against the King of Curses, Aoi supported the protagonist with his Boogie Woogie. While fighting, Itadori used the Dismantle part of his cursed technique Shrine and directed it towards the link between Ryomen Sukuna and Megumi.

He continued hitting the link until Ryomen Sukuna committed some of his fingers, weakening the bond between his soul and Megumi's body. To avoid losing at such a crucial point, Sukuna swallowed his vomit back and continued fighting. Out of nowhere, Hana Kurusu appeared and used a fully powered Jacob's Ladder to, hopefully, kill the ultimate antagonist once and for all.

In Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 212, Ryomen Sukuna took over Itadori Yuji through a Bidding Vow. He then impaled everyone and made Megumi swallow one of his fingers, thus changing hosts to the latter. He further proceeded with the bath which weakened Megumi's link to his body, and finally drowned the sorcerer's hopes of living after killing his sister through his body.

Itadori once managed to speak with Megumi during the fight with Sukuna. Unfortunately, the sorcerer begged his friend to stop trying to save him and just let him die. Judging by how the link between Sukuna and Megumi weakened in the latest chapter, Megumi would need to step up, not for himself but for the betterment of the whole world.
