Vampire Dormitory season 2 wasn't announced after the conclusion of the series' first season on June 23, 2024. While most fans expected the series to end after its first season, the source material is still ongoing and has no news of ending soon.
Vampire Dormitory is the anime adaptation of a manga series written and illustrated by Tooyama Ema. Other than this, the author has some famous manga series like I Guess I Became the Mother of the Great Demon King's 10 Children in Another World, Pixie Pop: Gokkun Pucho, and I Am Here.
Vampire Dormitory didn't end on that big of a cliffhanger but it did introduce a new character that looked similar to the male protagonist. So, season 2 could focus on his story. The sequel could continue Ruka chasing Mito again, even though he just beat Ren to get his life's destined partner back.

Exploring the reason why Vampire Dormitory season 2 should be announced
The animation studio Studio Blanc animated Vampire Dormitory. The series is one of the few cross-dressing series that aired in the Spring anime season of 2024 and one of the most underrated this season.
Vampire Dormitory episode 12 saw Ren and Mito's wedding ceremony. Before the ceremony started, Ruka visited Mito and gave her the thrall necklace she had before Ren removed her memories of Ruka. After she wore the necklace, memories from her past started to recover.
During the ceremony, while reciting vows, Mito couldn't commit to them and started crying. Ruka interrupted and embraced Mito's lips. She calmed down and transformed back into a woman in front of Ruka, who was ecstatic over knowing that Mito was his destined partner after all.
These two then returned to their dorms and Mito started living her life as a boy again, but this time, Ruka was aware of her truth as a woman. The episode ended with the introduction of a transfer student to Mito's class. His name was Ruze Tsukishiro and he looked similar to Ruka.
Vampire Dormitory season 1 adapted the first 21 chapters of the manga series, which corresponds to 7 volumes. There are a total of 14 volumes in serialization for this manga series, as of this article's publication. So, there are still 7 volumes left that haven't been adapted into an anime.
As indicated by the climax of the last episode, if Vampire Dormitory season 2 becomes a reality, the story would now be centered around the new transfer student, Ruze. Mito could interact with him as a normal student, but just like Ren, he could also enter Mito's life as a potential love interest.
Vampire Dormitory season 2 could see Ruka trying his best to save his destined partner from the claws of a new opponent. The battle against Ren fell in the favour of Ruka at the last minute after Mito wore the thrall necklace but nothing can be said about the battle in season 2.
Just like the first season, Vampire Dormitory season 2 could develop a similar plotline where Ruka would have to chase Mito and win her over again, something that the fandom enjoyed in the first season and would love to see return.
