What happened at the end of Mushoku Tensei season 2?

Mushoku Tensei season 2 saw Rudeus revealing the heartbreaking news to his family. Aisha and Norn’s hearts were shattered after they discovered that their father was no more. The day turned more into a literal nightmare after Norn learned that her mother lost her memories and the ability to talk.

The season ended with Rudeus revealing his intention to marry Roxy in front of Sylphy, where he pleaded for her permission. While Norn was utterly displeased and even reprimanded both her brother and Roxy, Sylphy accepted Rudeus’ request. She was more pleased that Rudeus picked Roxy to be his second wife.

After a one-month timeskip, Sylphy and Rudeus had their first daughter. Sylphy named her Lucy, based on the sound of the two initials of both their names. Later, Rudeus paid a visit to his father’s grave where he shared the good news with Paul and thanked him for making a sacrifice that allowed him to see this day and experience fatherhood.
