Wind Breaker chapter 155 was titled Oath and commenced with the confirmation that Umemiya was indeed knocked out after Takiishi's finishing blow. Endo didn't waste any time celebrating the triumph of his side. As he tried to reason with Sakura about how the strongest never remain at the top, Sakura claimed that there was no way Umemiya would lose so easily.

Sakura then remembered the time they had defeated Shishitoren when Umemiya claimed that no matter how hard the climb might be, he would never lose. The next moment, Umemiya stood up and surprised Endo. However, as Umemiya was the only person in Takiishi's world, Endo didn't consider this too big of a surprise.

Takiishi's eyes also lit up after witnessing his rival stand up for a second round. However, before they could start fighting, Ummeiya set the stakes by saying that if he won against Takiishi, he would need to reveal his life story.

Takiishi, realizing that Umemiya had not changed even a little bit, complied with his demands which surprised Endo because he had never seen Takiishi agree to such demands. However, Takiishi asked for stakes in case of his victory to which Umemiya boldly replied by saying 'nothing' as he claimed that he would win.
