Wind Breaker chapter 161: Umemiya joins the celebration as he raises the final toast to Furin's victory

Wind Breaker chapter 161 was expected to continue the talk between Kouta and Hiirage and see them patch up their friendship. However, they were interrupted by the juniors of Shishitoren, and Kouta couldn't help but scold them for eavesdropping on his conversation.

While he scolded his juniors, Hiiragi looked at Kouta and was glad he had finally found a place that Kouta could call home. On the other hand, while Sakura was grilling meat, he was interrupted by Tomiyama who kept feeding others half-cooked skewers. In the last few panels, Ummeiya joined everyone and again raised a toast to Furin's victory against Noroshi.

Wind Breaker chapter 161: Tomiyama continues his shenanigans as Umemiya joins the party

Wind Breaker chapter 161, titled The Fog Lifts, commenced where it left off in the previous chapter as Kouta caught his juniors who were spying on him while he was talking to Hiirage. Surprisingly, among the juniors was a senior of Kouta but as he was also involved in the act, he faced Kouta's wrath. He scolded them with all he had, even though the juniors were still acting funny.

Among the juniors, Inugami was still very cheery, but Kouta didn't like his behavior and started pulling his hair. Inugami then escaped to Hiiragi and started introducing him which, again, infuriated Kouta. Kaji then approached Kouta and said he was thankful to the latter for his help because Kouta arrived when Kaji was about to faint against his opponent from Noroshi.

As Kaji left, Wind Breaker chapter 161 saw Inugami return with a big smile on his face which irritated Kouta. Inugami said that Hiirgai was a kind person as he thanked him for taking care of Kouta. When Inugami said this, Kouta's face glowed and he stated that he was happy because he heard the words from Hiiragi which he had been expecting for years.

Wind Breaker chapter 161 then shifted to the other side of the party where Tomiyama assisted Sakura who was grilling some skewers. Unfortunately, Tomiyama was handing out par-cooked skewers to the audience which infuriated Sakura. Sakura wanted him to wait but Tomiyama titled Sakura as 'stingy' which everyone agreed to.

Wind Breaker chapter 161 then shifted to Togame's side who discussed Sakura's growth and admitted that he was running ahead of them due to his dedication to protecting his loved ones. Nirei and Suou also agreed with their comments and stated they needed to work hard to grow stronger.

After listening to their comments, the leader of Roppoichiza revealed that Sakura considered his friends, presumably Suou and Nirei, the reason behind his strength. This comment made both of them blush.

Wind Breaker chapter 161 saw a panel of Sugishita who was mysteriously looking into the sky with a sentimental gaze. The last part of the chapter saw Umemiya join everyone in the party. After someone appreciated the taste of the vegetables Umemiya had grown, the Furin leader started shouting with appreciation.

Umemiya then asked everyone to raise their glasses for a toast. Sakura taunted him because he had already raised a toast once, but Umemiya stated there was no rule that a toast could be raised only once. The last panel of Wind Breaker chapter 161 saw everyone raise a toast to Furin's victory with the leaders of each group on the front.
