Wind Breaker chapter 162 recap
Wind Breaker chapter 162, titled Everyone's Feelings, commenced with Umemiya and his comrades at Furin bidding farewell to their allies from other gangs. Moreover, as everyone was about to leave, Sakura urged them to call for help whenever needed. However, in response, the protagonist was teased for his gaming skills by the other gangs.
Nirei volunteered to help Sakura practice but after learning that the protagonist broke consoles during his loss, he reconsidered his statement. Annoyed by their remarks, Sakura left and started cleaning the rooftop. Umemiya accompanied him as these two discussed their recoveries and how the good days were back at Furin.
Umemiya then thanked Sakura for his help and looked forward to his input in the future. Unfortunately, Sakura couldn't receive the praise to his face as he only won against Endo thinking that the real win would be Umemiya's win against Takiishi. Sakura wished to become someone like Umemiya who acted like a real leader while keeping things normal.
On the other hand, everyone was discussing Sakura's growth and Kanji asked the fighters from Shishitoren about Sakura's fight against Endo. Even though they appreciated his growth, they also stated that the protagonist's state was dangerous because he had genuine feelings for his friends and was willing to give his life to protect Furin.
Nirei added that this was Sakura's usual behavior and they needed to get stronger for his sake. Everyone else complied and promised to become stronger for the protagonist's sake. The chapter ended with everyone enjoying fireworks.
