Wind Breaker episode 10 recap

Wind Breaker episode 10 began with Umemiya announcing to the Shishitoren spectators that the fight was over and there was nothing else to see. He then turned to Tomiyama and Togame asking where they could get take-out from. They all then ordered food and ate together while bonding and talking. This was especially true for Tomiyama, who asked Umemiya how he still had so much fun at the top, what being there meant for him, and what he fought for.

Umemiya explained that above everything else in life, he loves food, and loves it because eating with friends allows everyone to laugh, smile, and be happy. He added that he didn’t become Furin’s number one on his own and that he fights for the wishes of all those who helped him get to this point (saying so as he looks at Sakura specifically). Tomiyama called Umemiya amazing before the scene shifted to the two groups parting ways.

Tomiyama and Togame had a brief moment of discussion and decided to make it up to the other Shishitoren members together. Focus then shifted to Kotoha Tachibana’s cafe, where Sakura and Umemiya had a discussion about everything Sakura had learned. This also led to discussions of Sakura needing to beat Umemiya to become Furin’s number one. The episode ended with Sugishita getting upset at this and trying to start a fight for comic relief.

Wind Breaker episode 11 is titled A New Classmate. After defeating Shishitoren and enjoying a fun after-party session, the boys of Bofurin will finally return to their classes. Even though the anime is reaching its climax in the next two episodes, there could be a chance the first season would end with setting up a good situation for a sequel.

After returning to their classes, Sakura would be formally welcomed by his class, which could invoke emotions inside him, just like how he was accepted by this town when he defended the town against another gang. The episode would introduce the other students of Sakura's class and as usual, fans could get to see some softcore fight scenes.
