Wind Breaker episode 12 began with Suo nominating Sakura for Grade Captain, which Tsureuga, Kiryu, and Nirei all seconded. Suo and Nirei then volunteered to become his Secondaries since they pushed the hardest for his nomination to the role. Suo then started a group chat with their entire class, which further embarrassed Sakura. Sakura, Nirei, and Suo then went on after-school rounds with Ren Kaji, the second-years’ Grade Captain.

They saw Ren offer to help an old woman find what seemed to be a missing child after berating her for letting this happen again, but he then simply delegated the task to others. However, it was then revealed the missing child was actually a cat, whom Sakura and Ren eventually caught. Sakura then spoke with Ren about what it meant to be Grade Captain, seemingly finding meaning in the role and excitement for being in it likewise.

The next day, Sakura went to Kotoha’s cafe before school, where she realized he was Grade Captain and gave him tips like doing what he can to start, such as calling people by their name. Sakura left, heading to school at which point he called Nirei and Suo by name and expressed gratitude for them being his Secondaries. The episode ended with Umemiya calling all Grade Captains to the roof, where they were set for a meeting with him and Furin’s Four Kings.

What to expect from Wind Breaker episode 13 (speculative)

Wind Breaker episode 13 will be titled For a Friend. As indicated by the climax of the previous episode, the next episode would introduce the Four Kings of Bofurin, alongside their secondaries. The next episode would also be the final episode of the series so the episode could most likely end on a cliffhanger.

In the previous episode, where Sakura was trying to remember the names of his classmates, Anzai left the room in an injured state. He would be involved in a fight and Sakura, accompanied by his two secretaries, would come to save him. This could be the cliffhanger for the first season.
