Wistoria: Wand and Sword chapter 45 part 2: Emma's status is revealed as Will Serfort vs. Shade ends

Wistoria: Wand and Sword chapter 45 part 2 came out on Monday, October 9, 2024. The chapter revealed the consequence of Will Serfort's attack against Shade, the Gohtia member, and showed the aftermath. Besides that, the chapter confirmed Emma's condition and suggested the tower might not be safe anymore.

In the previous chapter, Shade dove into Will Serfort's memory to turn him into her puppet. However, she was driven out of his consciousness by a mysterious figure within Will's mind, resembling the mage queen, Mercedes. Shortly after that, Will broke free from Shade's chains and performed an unknown spell against the Gohtia member.

Wistoria: Wand and Sword chapter 45 part 2: Will Serfort's battle against Shade ends?

Wistoria: Wand and Sword chapter 45 part 2, titled Abyssal Origin (2), picks up the events from the previous part and begins with Will Serfort demonstrating a mysterious Wis spell, Melgitor, against Shade. Yet, shortly after unleashing the long-ranged attack, Will loses consciousness.

Shade, who luckily survives the spell, becomes perplexed. She shouts at Will, asking who he truly is. Meanwhile, Lihanna observes that Will's attack has helped loosen the chains. Refusing to surrender, she breaks free from her confinements and charges at Shade.

Although Lihanna successfully lands a hit on Shade, the Gohtia member escapes using Nost (a smokescreen spell). Shade still shakes in terror, bamboozled by everything that has happened. Yet, she vows to make the mages pay.

Elsewhere, in Wistoria: Wand and Sword chapter 45 part 2, Finn observes the battle and feels Will Serfort still has a long way to go before he reaches his true origins. Interestingly, the other figure who was with Finn in the previous chapter, disappears from the scene.

The narrative for Wistoria: Wand and Sword chapter 45 part 2 switches to the South of the Tower's Sixth Stratum, The Fantafirmary, where Will Serfort regains consciousness. However, he tells Lihanna that he can't recollect anything that has happened.

According to Wistoria: Wand and Sword chapter 45 part 2, Will's mind went blank shortly after Shade used Emma to cast a spell on him. Yet, even though he can't recall the exact events, Will feels he got a glimpse of something after being hit with Shade's puppet spell.

He wonders whether his vision is somehow connected to Wis. Meanwhile, Creslouis lets Will and Lihanna enter the infirmary, where Emma is given treatment. Even though her injuries are healed, her life is still at risk because of the Floralphagia.

Creslouis is glad that Emma is at least alive. She adds that the elves are in charge of Emma's recovery. During their conversation, Lihanna asks Creslouis whether she knows anything about the esoteric school of magic called Berzeme Sique. The witch apprentice reveals that the Berzemes were a clan of puppet magic.

However, they were executed for plunging the city into chaos. Yet, more than that magic, Creslouis is intrigued by the usage of Belledors as a reagent for Berzemes magic. She advises Will and Lihanna to be on their toes and not trust anyone in the tower, as she feels the so-called traitor could be hiding in the tower.

Shortly after that in Wistoria: Wand and Sword chapter 45 part 2, Arvin Olus, the Wind Faction's chief, and Monica Orphan, the Wind Faction's adjutant, break into the room to check on Emma. Will was about to say something, but Creslouis stops him and Lihanna through telepathy.

She feels they mustn't divulge details to anyone easily considering the Gohtia member could send more puppets to keep track of them. Creslouis then advises Will and Lihanna to stay close to Zeo and Gilford, as they will be safe in their presence.

With possible enemies lurking around, Lihanna feels they can't really trust anyone. However, Will feels different. He reminds Lihanna that they still have their friends whom they can count on. Will Serfort's assurance brings back a smile on Lihanna's face?

At that moment, Gilford arrives and tells the duo to get ready for a storm of drills. Following that, the chapter switches the perspective to Elfaria. Wistoria: Wand and Sword chapter 45 part 2 ends abruptly with Elfaria Albis Serfort asking Aaron Masterias Oldking whether he wants to destroy the tower.
