Based on the Danmachi author, Fujino Omori's fantasy manga series, Wistoria: Wand and Sword follows the story of Will Serfort, who enrolls in Regarden Magical Academy to become a Magia Vander and keep the promise made to his childhood friend.
However, there's a catch: Will cannot cast even the simplest of the magic spells. As such, he has to battle dungeon monsters to earn credit at the Academy. Will's determination and resolve to make it to the top of the magical world imbues him with strength.
Even though he lacks magic, the boy compensates with wonderful swordsmanship. In a world, where magic reigns supreme, Will showcases that swordsmen can have an equal footing.
Given the unique plotline, Wistoria: Wand and Sword Episode 1 will likely highlight Will's life at the Regarden Academy. The official website has already revealed a preview for the premiere, according to which, the episode is titled "Like a Single Sword."
Fans can expect the episode to show Will Serfort enrolling into the Regarden Academy, and make acquaintances with other students there. However, considering he has no expertise in magic, he will likely go through a harsh time at the academy. The episode will likely contain plenty of action and focus on worldbuilding.
