Wistoria: Wand and Sword Episode 10 begins with a flashback scene, where Wignall Lindor is seen practicing his illusion magic to reach Ellenor's level. However, he cries in agony as his illusions fall apart. Yet, he refuses to give up and keeps practicing his magic in the academy, with Will Serfort observing him from the balcony.

Following that, Wistoria: Wand and Sword Episode 10 returns to the present, where Wignall tells Will that his illusions don't have physical forms as they should. He further confesses to Will how his elven community called him a disgrace.

Even though he's one of the top three students from the academy, Wignall considers himself "inferior." Wistoria: Wand and Sword 10 then switches the perspective to Lihanna, who confesses the same thing to Colette.

She feels that compared to the Tower's mages, she and other "top-rated students" are akin to big fishes in a small pond. Lihanna laments for not being endowed with "real talent."

The episode returns to Wignall's perspective, who tells Will Serfort that he learned how soul-crushing it is to be inferior from his foster sister, Ellenor Ljos Alf, who happens to be Elven Queen and one of the current Magia Vanders.

According to Wistoria: Wand and Sword Episode 10, Wignall and Ellenor grew up together as orphans. Since Ellenor was small, Wignall thought he needed to be there for her all the time.

However, she was one of the High elves, who could effortlessly create the Kingswood. After Ellenor became a Magia Vander, Wignall worked tirelessly to reach her level, but he failed; Wignall feels he's a disgrace to the elves.

After listening to the elven mage's backstory, Will Serfort feels he and Wignall are the same. Will assures Wignall that he's a talented elf, so he promises to protect him till he gets back on his feet. Likewise, Colette uplifts Lihanna by reminding her about Will, who never stops working hard, not even when others make fun of him for being "talentless."

Wistoria: Wand and Sword Episode 10 switches the focus back to Will and Wignall, who demonstrate their skills against several high-level monsters in the dungeon. Suddenly, they face a horde of Balkar, on whom physical attacks don't work. Moreover, they have high magic resistance. Thus, only the elven illusion magic works on them.

Wignall's insecurities overpower his consciousness as he feels he can't defeat the monsters. However, Will calms him down, reminding him that it's fine to fail. The boy adds that they can never move forward if they don't taste failures. The elven mage then tries his magic once but it doesn't work.

However, Will, who believes in Wignall, urges him not to give up. Uplifted by the boy's words, Wignall Lindor finally breaks his shackles and demonstrates his illusion magic, Alfs Ringhul, to extinguish the Balkars.

Wistoria: Wand and Sword Episode 10 then shows Wignall Lindor bowing before Will, acknowledging him as a mighty warrior. Will also confesses to the elven mage how he has always admired him. The episode then shows the duo finally shaking hands.
