Yakuza Fiancé episode 6 review: Kirishima and Yoshino visit Osaka

Yakuza Fiancé episode 6, titled I'd Rather You Hate Me Than Not Care Part 1, commenced with Yoshino and Tsubaki talking over the phone as they discussed Kirishima's obsession with the female protagonist. As their talk continued, Tsubaki told Yoshino to keep her guard around Kirishima because there was no telling what he could be planning on the inside.
However, Tsubaki also teased the topic of Kirishima's past girlfriends, which got Yoshino intrigued. Yakuza Fiancé episode 6 then shifted to a public gathering where Nao, a new model who had just landed a commercial, was sitting with her friends. Even though everyone was praising Nao for her good points, she knew that deep inside, her friends also considered her an attention-seeker.
As the girls continued their talk, Kirishima joined them and greeted Nao. Nao had an awkward reaction after seeing Kirishima, but they acted as if they were meeting for the first time. Yakuza Fiancé episode 6 later revealed that these two had an adult relationship in the past but cut their ties off for some reason. Kirishima later met Nao and gave her his number in case she got into trouble.

Back home, Yoshino announced that she wanted to visit Osaka for a while and got a date from Kirishima. Fast forward, these two were in Osaka. As they were traveling to Yoshino's home in a taxi, the female protagonist stopped the car when she saw Sohma drinking outside a restaurant. As expected, Sohma and Kirishima met with a fiery gaze, so Yoshino immediately asked them to rush home.
As they reached home, Yoshino entered her room with Kirishima. After Yoshino left the room to get some refreshments, Kirishima received a message from Nao to meet up. After having dinner with Yoshino and Sohma, Yakuza Fiancé episode 6 saw Kirishima leaving for his hotel as he didn't want to stay at Yoshino's house. In reality, he was going to meet Nao.
Yoshino and Sohma stopped at a convenience store on their way, where the latter asked the former to watch out for Kirishima, which reminded the female protagonist of the warning from Tsubaki. At the hotel, Kirishima was asked by Nao if he was in Osaka because of his girlfriend. As expected, Kirishima didn't reveal much, but Nao later saw Yoshino's picture on Kirishima's phone.
Yakuza Fiancé episode 6: The dark origins of Kirishima start to come to light

Yakuza Fiancé episode 6 dropped some hints about Kirishima's past, which sits well with what Tsubaki and Sohma had thought about the male protagonist. Kirishima's past relationship with Nao was a key giveaway to what Kirishima did in the past.
Kirishima not being the direct descendant of the Miyama family's head might be related to his mysterious origins. Given how the series is slowly dropping information about Kirishima's origins, there are chances that his reason for joining the Yakuza might be unveiled in the upcoming episodes.
Final Thoughts
Yakuza Fiancé episode 7 is set to be released on November 18, 2024, and the title of the episode might be I'd Rather You Hate Me Than Not Care Part 2, considering how the previous title was the first part. The episode might unveil more things about the relationship between Kirishima and Nao, and might also see Yoshino growing suspicious of Kirishima's acts.
