Yuji Itadori has had humble beginnings in the Jujutsu Kaisen manga as he did not have an innate cursed technique for long. However, his situation has seemingly taken a U-turn with the latest developments in the Shinjuku Showdown Arc.

The latest story arc has seen the protagonist showcase his new abilities. These newly acquired skills have allowed Yuji to become one of the key men in fighting Sukuna during the final battle. However, that's not all, as the protagonist's newly acquired skills have also helped him break into a special club of sorcerers alongside Ryomen Sukuna, Satoru Gojo, and Yuta Okkotsu.

Jujutsu Kaisen: How is Yuji similar to Sukuna, Gojo, and Yuta?

With the latest developments in Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 264, the manga series saw Yuji Itadori unleash his Domain Expansion for the very first time. This was a huge development as fans had been waiting for this moment since they saw Satoru Gojo use his Domain Expansion Unlimited Void against Jogo at the beginning of the series.

However, that isn't everything in the protagonist's arsenal as he has performed Black Flash several times in the series. He used this phenomenon for the first time in the battle against Hanami during the Kyoto Goodwill Event Arc.

After that, it took quite some time before Yuji Itadori learned new abilities in the series. Surprisingly, the protagonist did not disappoint fans, as when he finally started training again during the month before the fight against Ryomen Sukuna, he learned multiple new techniques and abilities.

Firstly, he learned the basics of cursed energy manipulation, barriers, and Simple Domain through the soul swap training with Atsuya Kusakabe. In addition, he also learned how to use the Cursed Womb: Death Painting's Blood Manipulation and Ryomen Sukuna's Shrine. Most importantly, Yuji Itadori learned how to use the Reverse Cursed Technique. He learned all these abilities within the same month.

While each of these abilities is exceptional, the three abilities that helped Yuji Itadori break into the special club in Jujutsu Kaisen were Domain Expansion, Reverse Cursed Technique, and Black Flash.

This is because, before Yuji Itadori had performed them, only Ryomen Sukuna, Satoru Gojo, and Yuta Okkotsu were the three Jujutsu sorcerers who had performed all three abilities in the past.

With that, Yuji Itadori took his place as one of the elites within the Jujutsu Kaisen manga. The only other truly exceptional character in the series might be Kenjaku, who has performed Maximum: Uzumaki, Domain Expansion: Womb Profusion, and Reverse Cursed Technique in the past.

Hopefully, before the series ends, fans will get to see protagonist Yuji Itadori surpass his fellow club members and become the one true exceptional Jujutsu sorcerer, becoming the first member of the newly-found club.
