Yuji Itadori proves himself as the main protagonist of the series in Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 257

Chapter 257 spoilers claim that Sukuna's revelation of his relationship with Itadori went beyond their host-parasite dynamic, starting the chapter with a bang. According to Sukuna, he was supposed to be born to his mother alongside a twin brother, but the King of Curses ate him to satisfy his hunger. This killed his twin brother, and only Sukuna was born.
Moreover, Kenjaku was able to get his hands on the soul of Sukuna's undead twin brother, and he reincarnated it as Jin Itadori, making Sukuna the twin brother of Itadori's father. The chapter then shifted to where it left off, as Itadori was hitting Sukuna with a Black Flash. The protagonist tried to chop off the King of Curses' leg, but the latter avoided it using his cursed technique.

The narrator later revealed that Itadori had two cursed techniques: 'Blood Manipulation,' which he inherited as a death painting, and 'Shrine,' which he inherited through Sukuna. The chapter then saw Ino entering the battle with Nanami's blade and his cursed technique's dragon. The King of Curses managed to evade Ino's advances but was left unguarded.
This was followed by continuous Black Flash techniques delivered to the King of Curses by Itadori, which ultimately led to the former being worried as to what the latter was planning. The chapter ended with the narrator declaring Itadori as strong as Sukuna, if not more. It could be proof that Itadori managed to regain his throne as the primary protagonist of Jujutsu Kaisen.
Reactions from fans to Itadori beating the fraud allegations
As always, the true fans of Itadori took to the internet and claimed that they never doubted the protagonist. They also called out the people who called Itadori a phony and said to their faces to never doubt the sorcerer, while mentioning Itadori's feat of hitting Sukuna with seven consecutive Black Flash techniques.
"YUJI ITADORI…. THEY SAID U WAS A FRAUD, THEY SAID U WASNT THE MC, THEY SAID U COULDN’T HANG WITH THE BIG BOYS BUT U PROVED THEM WRONGGGG. COOK MY GOAT COOOOOK," a fan stated.
"YUJI ITADORI THEY CALLED YOU A FRAUD, THEY CALLED YOU A FAKE MC, THEY WERE SAYING YOU HAVE NO AURA……… AND YOU PROVED THEM WRONG WITH 6 BLACK FLASHES ON FATKUNA," another fan added.
"I NEVER DOUBTED YOU ITADORI!! END THAT FRAUD!!" another one stated.

A fan claimed that he doubted Itadori from the very start, calling him a fraud like most of the fandom. However, the fan also admitted that, after the latest chapter, he believed that Itadori could be the strongest one.
Another fan called out Sukuna, who kept belittling Itadori, thus indicating that no one could defeat him. Unfortunately, he pulled the short straw and faced the wrath of the series' protagonist, Itadori.
"Not gonna deny, I was among the people that called him a fraud, fake MC, "Mid"tatori Yuji because I lost all hope and respect on him throughout the chapters. But Yuji Itadori stood on f*ing business today, he is locked tf in, he's fully tapped in... HE IS HIM! HE MY TWIN TOO!" a fan said.
"I blame fraud boys for all of this," said another fan.
"no one can defeat me, 10 chapters later," a fan added.
Lastly, a fan funnily said that the next chapter could feature Itadori using a Black Flash machine gun. The fan could be thinking this because hitting the technique seven times was something special, meaning Itadori could hit Sukuna with normal punches, with each having the impact of a Black Flash.
Surprisingly, a fan inserted Megumi into the discussion by claiming that Itadori could never come close to his level. He also declared Megumi as number 1 instead of the series' protagonist.
Lastly, a fan called out the biased fandom of Jujutsu Kaisen. The fan showed his confusion over how the whole fandom was calling Itadori a fraud right before the spoilers of the latest chapter, and as soon as he was revealed to be stronger than the King of Curses, everyone shifted their talk.
"Itadori in the next chapter of jujutsu kaisen using his Black flash machine gun," another one stated.
"If you claim to be the number 1 Yuji Itadori fan you’re lying because it’s Megumi," a fan added.
"The aniTwitter community is funny as hell! Many of you have been calling Yuji Itadori a fraud for years simply because he doesn't get the typical main character treatment. Now, you're all praising him? There's just no winning with you all, is there? I just don't understand this whole operation," a fan added.
Stay tuned for more anime and manga news as 2024 progresses.
