Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 264 was the moment that every single fan was waiting for ever since Domain Expansions were introduced as a technique. With nearly every character showing off their version of the pinnacle of Jujutsu sorcerery, Yuji was the only one left without a Domain Expansion.
Now, after 263 chapters, the time has finally arrived for Yuji to ascend to a new level of power. He has undergone substantial training, as gradually revealed, and all that effort has borne fruit at last.
While the features of Yuji's Domain Expansion are yet known, there is an intriguing theory that suggests it could be similar to Ryomen Sukuna's Malevolent Shrine in a way that went unnoticed.

Jujutsu Kaisen: Yuji's Domain Expansion could be surprisingly similar to Sukuna's
Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 264 might be a turning point in this Final Arc. The battle against Sukuna has been going on for a while with no visible end. But with Yuji pulling out a card like this, it might be the end of the line for the King of Curses. A certain theory suggests that Yuji's Domain could be ironically similar to Sukuna's.
As theory speculates, the little glimpse that the chapter gave viewers of Yuji's Domain made it seem like a barrierless one. So far, only Malevolent Shrine has been known to be without a barrier. This might be possible due to the following reason: Firstly, Yuji was not seen casting a barrier, just a hand sign that transported both him and Sukuna to a strange station.
Next, it is possible that creator Gege Akutami used the comment about training with Atsuya Kusakabe as a red herring to mislead viewers into thinking that Yuji's Domain had a barrier. Moreover, it might have had a barrier when he was training, but his awakening via his 8 Black Flashes enabled him to ascend in his Jujutsu skills.
This would mean that Yuji has now grown equal to or at least close to Sukuna's level of Jujutsu sorcery. After all, Malevolent Shrine's power lay in its barrierless characteristic that allowed Sukuna to expand it up to a certain range and decimate anything within.
Similarly, whatever other characteristics Yuji's Domain Expansion possesses might function in the same manner, limiting Sukuna's options for escape. If the previously mentioned points are true, then Akutami has drawn up a perfect final battle between Yuji and Sukuna.
The pair coming face-to-face like this would be a testament to how much Yuji has grown and achieved the potential seen in him. Further, it will also imply that Yuji is just as powerful as Sukuna (considering Yuji's origins), which would soon compel the Demon King to acknowledge him, as he had Jogo, Todo, Gojo, and Yuta.
Final Thoughts
Yuji's Domain Expansion was a long time coming in Jujutsu Kaisen. The boy has undergone tremendous character development, suffering greatly and yet bouncing back stronger each time. No matter what was thrown at him, Yuji somehow found a way out of it, either by himself or through others' help.
Presently, the pink-haired teen is the last one standing from Team Jujutsu High. There couldn't have been a better moment for Yuji to pull out this card. As far as chapter 264 is concerned, fans were only afforded a glimpse of Yuji's Domain. Only time will tell what makes it so special and worth the wait.
