With Jujutsu Kaisen currently on break, fans patiently bide their time and hope for the best after the events of chapter 262. Barely anyone remains standing from Team Jujutsu High, save for Yuji Itadori, Todo Aoi, and the most recent entrant, Yuta/Gojo.

Yuta, or rather Gojo Satoru's return, sent shockwaves through the fandom. But there is no time to lament as Ryomen Sukuna still stands tall despite taking considerable damage. More so, as Sukuna and Yuta/Gojo engage in another bout, the Demon King looks to have bypassed the white-haired sorcerer's Limitless.

Even with Gojo's body, it looks like Yuta might still need a hand to finish the job. Given how circumstances are aligning, an old piece of official artwork hints at Yuji helping Yuta take down Sukuna in this ultimate arc.

Old Jujutsu Kaisen official art teases Yuji might help Yuta best Sukuna

Not too long ago, a piece of Jujutsu Kaisen art was released by author Gege Akutami. The colored sketch depicts Gojo in his final battle outfit with his two students, Yuta and Yuji. At first, it looked like regular official artwork mangakas release.

However, as mentioned, the final arc's events might be shaping up to give this artwork great importance. To elaborate, out of Gojo's students, Yuta and Yuji have been tipped to become the most powerful and possibly even surpass their sensei.

Further, it was initially both these two individuals who wanted to join Gojo in battle. With information now that Gojo's body is intact, it opens up the possibility that the trio - Gojo, Yuta, and Yuji - face Sukuna. This would exactly mirror what Sukuna did to Gojo when he fought him 3-on-1 alongside Mahoraga and Merged Beast Agito.

It also ushers in doubts and confusion about how Gojo would revive this time. While that might be a plausible concern, it is up to the author how he does that, even if he chooses to go that route. But there are signs that something is brewing.

First, the plan to use Gojo's body as a contingency, although twisted, was also assurance that it had been secured, as guessed previously. Then, since Yuta copied Kenjaku's technique, he has no more than 5 minutes in his new body until something drastic happens - but it is unclear what since Team Jujutsu High could only speculate the outcome.

Finally, looking back at the art, Gege Akutami and Jujutsu Kaisen are no strangers to incredible foreshadowing. There is a clue as to why Gojo was featured alongside Yuta and Yuji in the artwork. Many might point to this moment (Yuta controlling Gojo) as an answer, but with Akutami's track record, anything is possible.

It is certainly intriguing to see Gojo featured yet again despite his role as an individual in Jujutsu Kaisen seemingly over. Just when it looked like he had no route to return, he reappeared in the most twisted yet necessary way possible.

With the manga on break due to the author's health issues, speculation and concern continue to grow. Fans have wished the best for Akutami's health and hope that both the author and the series experience a turn for the better.
