Yuta's "trump card" against Sukuna in chapter 263 might just do the unthinkable in Jujutsu Kaisen

Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 263 is set to be officially released on Monday, July 15, 2024. However, the manga chapter's spoilers were leaked online days before the official release. With that, fans learned about Yuta Okkotsu's "trump card" against Ryomen Sukuna. Surprisingly, this development might just see the Jujutsu Sorcerer achieve the unthinkable.

The previous chapter saw Yuta Okkotsu in Satoru Gojo's body trying to hit Sukuna with the Hollow Purple. However, Sukuna knew what Yuta wanted to do and kept countering it. That's when Yuta used Blue to pull a voice recorder inside the domain. The device had Inumaki's voice asking Sukuna not to move. With Sukuna paralyzed, Yuta hit him with the Hollow Purple.

Jujutsu Kaisen: The true nature of Yuta's CT grants him the "trump card" to defeat Sukuna

The spoilers for Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 263 revealed a flashback of Yuta Okkotsu and Hana Kurusu. Angel stated that their role in helping the Jujutsu Sorcerers ended after they helped them dispel Satoru Gojo from the Prison Realm.

Nevertheless, Hana was worried about Megumi Fushiguro as Ryomen Sukuna had taken over his body. Hence, she asked Yuta what would happen to him. Yuta apologized to Hana and Angel as he had another request for them. He wanted them to use their Jacob's Ladder CT in an all-or-nothing attempt to split Sukuna and Megumi's souls.

The manga revealed how Yuta's opponents often confuse his Copy Cursed Technique. Yuta can use his CT to copy other people's Cursed Techniques. However, due to the nature of his CT, his opponents tend to think that he has taken away the technique from the original user.

This is because his opponents tend to be more focused on trying to deduce how many cursed techniques he must have copied and kept in stock for the fight. Such thinking makes them completely vulnerable to the possibility that both the original user and Yuta could use the same CT.

With that, Jujutsu Kaisen manga revealed that the true strength of Yuta Okkotsu's Copy Cursed Technique was the ability to have two of the same cards in his hand.

This meant that while his opponent would be focused on deducing what CT he would use next, Yuta could use his "trump card," i.e., the original user of the copied cursed technique could help him and use their CT against his opponent.

The same was seen in Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 263 spoilers as Yuta Okkotsu had Hana Kurusu use Angel's Maximum Output: Jacob's Ladder cursed technique on Ryomen Sukuna.

Given the one-week break between chapters 263 and 264, this move might just do the unthinkable and split Sukuna and Megumi's souls. Moreover, Yuta could also use the "trump card" to defeat the King of Curses alongside Yuji, Todo, and Hana.
