In Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 269, spoilers and raw scans have revealed that the fan-favorite pairing, Yutamaki, will continue to thrive. Yutamaki is the ship name for Yuta Okkotsu and Maki Zenin, who first crossed paths in chapter 1 of Volume 0, which is a prequel to the main storyline of Jujutsu Kaisen.

In the previous chapter, the intense battle between Sukuna and Yuji comes to a bittersweet end, with Megumi being rescued and the King of Curses deciding not to return to Yuji. Following this, Yuji, Megumi, and Nobara took some time to read their letters from Gojo. Then, they realized that they needed to save Yuta Okkotsu. The chapter wrapped up with Maki, Toge Inumaki, Panda, Kasumi Miwa, Atsuya Kusakabe, and Momo Nishimiya setting off to find Yuta.

Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 269 is set to be released on Monday, September 16, 2024, at 12 am JST. The recent spoilers reveal that Yuta will regain his body, thanks to Rika's efforts to keep his original body safe. However, Yuta's return will not be celebrated by everyone, or so it seems on the surface.

Maki will sternly remind him that just because he is back in his body does not mean everything is fine. She would criticize him, saying the battle could have been won more easily if he had handled things better. In fact, throughout the chapter, Maki appears intimidating, even grabbing Yuta by the collar while insisting she does not intend to blame him for everything.

Thus, although it was said in the previous chapter that he needed to save, perhaps he needed to save from Maki. But that is, of course, a joke, and behind Maki’s sternness, one can discern that she is coming from a place of concern.
