He can also give life through imagination. This is his trump card since he can create clones, doubling his imaginative powers and making them stronger against a tough opponent.

These feats are rarely matched by other characters in the series because his powers are quite literally God-like. However, Kenpachi Zaraki is so strong that he manages to make Gremmy’s powers look like a joke. The two characters were pitted against each other in the anime series and it was undoubtedly one of the most interesting fights in the entire story.

Gremmy used his powers to quite literally surround Kenpachi with Lava and water. He even hurt of one Kenpachi’s comrades by turning their bones into cookies, rendering her immobile during the fight. Gremmy even creates his clone and with its help, creates a massive meteorite from his imagination. He is convinced that this would kill Kenpachi, but the latter’s calm demeanor stunned him into silence. The Quincy was shocked to see Kenpachi Zaraki approach the meteor and destroy it in one single blow with the help of his true Shikai.

Being a member of the Sternritter, Gremmy didn’t call it quits just yet and decided to put Kenpachi in a space that had no form. He quite literally a space filled with a vacuum and put Kenpachi in it. However, the latter quite literally cut through that dimension and returned to the battlefield.

Gremmy realized that the reason for his defeat was his assumption that his powers were on the same level as Kenpachi's. Since he viewed Kenpachi as his equal, he was defeated. This is how Kenpachi made one of the most impressive abilities look like a joke in the Bleach series.
