The World Athletics Organization publishes the rankings every week on Wednesday. Richardson and Lyles top the world rankings in women's and men's 100m respectively. Ryan Crouser is leading the list in men's shot put while Katie Moon tops the pole vault event rankings.

Sha'Carri Richardson clinched a gold medal in the women's 100m by clocking an impressive 10.65 seconds, leaving behind the Jamaican favorites Shericka Jackson and Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce. The 23-year-old went on to secure a bronze medal in the 200m, clocking 21.92 seconds.

Moreover, Richardson ran the anchor leg in the women's 4x100m relay and led the team, including Gabby Thomas, Twanisha Terry, and Tamari Davis to the top position on the podium.

Noah Lyles' performance at the World Championships in the Hungarian capital was nothing short of noteworthy.

Lyles clinched a gold medal in the men's 100m by setting a world lead after clocking a spectacular 9.83 seconds. Continuing the winning streak, he went on to bag another gold medal in the men's 200m with a time of 19.52 seconds.

Similar to fellow USA teammate Richardson, he led the men's 4x100m relay team to victory by running the last leg of the race. Lyles is followed by compatriot Christian Coleman in the world rankings.

He clinched a gold medal in the men's shot put throw by covering an impressive distance of 23.51m and setting a new championship record. He left behind Leonardo Fabbri and his fellow teammate, Joe Kovacs, who recorded 22.12m.

Crouser finished in second place behind Joe Kovacs at the 2023 Prefontaine Classic i.e. the 2023 Diamond League final.

In the 2023 Diamond League series, he won three Diamond League series, including the London, Florence, and Paris events. He secured second place in the 2023 Prefontaine Classic i.e. the Diamond League Final.
