Anna Hall represented the Georgia Bulldogs from 2019 to 2021. Hall was named a USTFCCCA All-Academic Individual. Hall posted a team-best high jump mark of 6 feet, ½ inches securing second place in the open event at the Bob Pollock Invitational. At the SEC Championships, she cleared 6-0 in the pentathlon high jump, earning second place in the event. Hall also excelled in the pentathlon shot put with a top effort of 42-4 taking second place.

At the Razorback Invitational, Hall accumulated 4,202 points in the pentathlon placing her eighth in UGA’s record books and fifth on the 2020 national performance list making her the top freshman. This performance earned Hall a spot at Nationals. Hall secured runner-up honors in the pentathlon at the SEC Championships with 4,166 points.

Moreover, Hall contributed to UGA’s success in the 4x400m relay running a leg on the team that posted the second-fastest time in UGA history, 3:36.07, to win the Bob Pollock meet.

In 2021, Hall finished second in the NCAA indoor pentathlon and third in the high jump earning NCAA high jump All-American honors and contributing to the Bulldogs’ third-place team finish at the NCAA Outdoor Championships. She chose to skip the heptathlon to focus on the postponed 2020 US Olympic trials.

During the 100-meter hurdles heat at the Olympic trials in June 2021, Hall suffered a severe injury breaking the navicular bone in her left foot after hitting the eighth barrier and crashing on the track.

Surgery was required to insert a screw into her foot and she was not cleared to walk until October. On April 22, 2022, in an interview with the Track & Field News Hall said: “My heart is broken that I didn’t get to put up the score I knew I was ready for and my Olympic dreams (for this year) were shattered before my eyes”.

Following a coaching change at UGA, Hall transfered to the University of Florida for a better academic and athletic fit.

In 2022, Anna Hall represented the Florida Gators with remarkable achievements after recovering from a broken foot that had sidelined her in 2021. In February, Hall returned to competition and won the SEC indoor title in the pentathlon scoring a personal best of 4618 points. She claimed the pentathlon and heptathlon titles at the NCAA Division I Indoor and Outdoor Championships, respectively.

Hall helped the Gators secure their first women's NCAA Indoor team title in 30 years. She earned silver in the 400 m hurdles contributing to Florida's first-ever NCAA Outdoor team title. She competed in the 800 meters just 20 minutes after her hurdles final.

Hall shattered her heptathlon personal best with 6412 points at the Texas Relays and also broke the collegiate record of 6390 set by Jackie Joyner-Kersee in 1983. She also achieved an American record in the heptathlon 800 meters, clocking in at 2:04.61.

Hall improved these marks at the USATF Combined Event Championships scoring 6458 points and recording the third-fastest heptathlon 800 m time in world history at 2:03.11. She earned her the title of USTFCCCA Women's Outdoor National Field Athlete of the Year.

At the World Athletics Championships in Eugene, Oregon in July 2022, Hall achieved a personal best in the heptathlon, scoring 6755 points and winning the bronze medal. She became the third-best female heptathlete in American history and established a new NCAA record. Her performance was the best by a US female heptathlete since 1993 and secured the first world medal in the discipline for the United States in 20 years, following Shelia Burrell’s bronze in 2001.
