Aiming success in the upcoming London Olympics, Usain Bolt is sleeping on a specially designed bed. This bed is said to have some medical property that may prevent injuries of hamstring and is supposed to be 7ft long, which is a perfect match for this 6ft 5in athlete.
Bolt, one of the star attractions, withdrew his name from the Grand Prix in Monaco due to tightness in hamstring. In order to keep him free from any injury, Jamaican Sports Authority has ordered these type of special beds (said to be half a dozen), for Bolt and other tall Jamaican players.
Zena Wooldridge, Director of sports at the University of Birmingham where Jamaican players are having their pre-Olympic camp told media, “There was a fear Usain would be uncomfortable with his bed, so in the last few days we’ve had a special orthopaedic mattress made for him.”
