Murali Sreeshankar's silver at the ongoing CWG 2022 is one to savor. The 23-year old Murali secured the second position in men's long jump event. He was tied with the eventual gold medallist Laquan Nairn from Bahamas. However, Laquan had a better second-best attempt and hence, was awarded the first position. The silver is historic nevertheless as it's the best showing by an Indian male long jumper at the CWG!
