Daniel Haugh is an American Olympian and track and field athlete. He is set to compete in the 2024 Paris Olympics, after previously participating in the 2020 Tokyo Games, where he finished 11th in the men's hammer throw.
Haugh was born and raised in Marietta, Georgia, and attended Kennesaw State University, graduating in 2019. He is the son of Jordan and Yvonne Haugh. He became the 2013 Georgia state champion in hammer, discus, and weight throw, contributing to St. Pius X's team title at the Georgia Class 3A Outdoor Championships.
Outside of athletics, Haugh enjoys fishing. He continues to aim high, training to end the 28-year U.S. Olympic medal drought in the hammer throw alongside fellow competitor Rudy Winkler.
