While Kuppuswamy Premkumar finished 6th in Men’s 110m hurdles, there was some good news coming out of the Women’s 100m hurdles as Gayathri Govindaraj clinched the Bronze medal in the opening leg of the Asian Grand Prix Games, that were held in Bangkok on Monday.
The 24-year-old Chennai-born athlete finished with a timing of 13.72 seconds to finish third behind Wang Duo of China, who finished with Silver with a timing of 13.40 seconds and Pilipenko Anastasiya of Kazakhstan, who won the Gold with a timing of 13.25 seconds.
