Grant Holloway is an American professional hurdler and sprinter, competing in hurdles, long jump, and sprints. Born on November 19, 1997, he secured second place in the 2020 Summer Olympics In Tokyo. Grant is a three-time world champion in the 110-meter hurdles and is the second-fastest man in history for the 110-meter hurdles.
He set a personal best record of 12.81 seconds and an indoor record for the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 7.27 seconds. Coached by Mike Holloway, he competes for Adidas. As of 2024, Holloway is all set to compete in the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.

Grand has won a total of eight gold medals and one silver medal at different events. He started his journey during his early days under the guidance of his father who coached him in the Track 757 club. Later he went to the University of Florida where he won eight NCAA titles, especially 60m hurdles. Grant also set an NCAA record in the 110m hurdles with a time of 12.98 seconds. After his great success in the NCAA, Grant turned pro in 2019. In the same year, he won his first gold medal at the World Championship 110m hurdles.
In 2021, he amazed everyone with his personal best record of 110m in 12.81 seconds in the U.S. Olympic Trials in 2021. With this, he became the second fastest athlete in history for the 110m event. Grant made his debut in the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo where he finished second and won a silver medal in the 110m hurdles.
Grant later won another two gold medals in the World Championship in 2022 and 2023 and became the world's number one in the 110m hurdles in 2023. In the World Indoor Championship, he earned two gold medals at the 60m event in 2021 and 2023. He added another gold medal to his portfolio at the Diamond League in 110 m hurdles.

In 2018, he was a finalist for The Bowerman and a fan favorite. In the following year, he won The Bowerman and earned the title of Men's Indoor and Outdoor Track Athlete of the Year by the USTFCCCA. Track & Field News also honored him as the U.S. Collegiate Men's Indoor and Outdoor Athlete of the Year in 2019. After setting the world record in the 60m hurdles and an undefeated indoor season in 2021, Holloway was the runner-up for Track & Field News' Indoor Men's Athlete of the Year.
