“Le Yangyang” are the mascots for the 2010 Asian Games in Guangzhou. They are named A Xiang, A He, A Ru, A Yi and Le Yang Yang. Together, their names phonetically (Xiang He Ru Yi Le Yangyang) mean peace, harmony, and great happiness. It is meant as a symbol of Guangzhou people’s hope that the Asian Games will bring luck, harmony, joy, success, and great happiness.
