Former world no. 1 and Olympian Christian Coleman is an American runner, born on March 6, 1996. He specializes in 100 meters, 200 meters, and 60 meters. Along with winning gold in the men's 4 × 100-meter relay, the sprinter is also the 2019 World Champion in 100 meters. He went to the University of Tennessee and won five NCAA titles in indoor and outdoor events, turning professional in 2017.
Coleman participated at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics and is also a two-time American national champion, having won the 100 m in 2019 and the 60 m in 2018. However, his failure to submit to a drug test that began in December 2019 resulted in a temporary suspension from events in mid-2020. Later, this temporary suspension turned into a two-year suspension, resulting in her missing the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. However, he challenged the verdict, citing that he had never tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs, which lowered his suspension to a year, but he still missed the 2020 Olympics. However, he qualified for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
