Cole Hocker, a 23-year-old American athlete, earned a spot in his second Olympic Games in 2024 when he overtook Yared Nuguse in the last 250 meters to win in a meet record and personal best of 3:30.59 at the 2024 Olympic Trials in 1500 meters. He is also the silver medalist in the 2024 World Athletics Indoor Championship.
