Grant Holloway is an American track and field athlete specializing in the 110m and 60m hurdles. Born on November 19, 1997, in Chesapeake, Virginia, Holloway has not lost any indoor sprint hurdles race since March 2014. He is a two-time World Champion, having secured titles in both 2019 and 2022. Grant also holds the second-fastest time ever recorded in the 110m hurdles at 12.81 seconds. Recently, Holloway won the U.S. Olympic Trials, securing his spot for the 2024 Paris Olympics, where he aims to secure the gold medal.

Grant Holloway competes in the 110m and 60m hurdles. He set a personal best of 60m hurdles in 6.50 seconds in 2021, the second-fastest time ever recorded. At the indoor 60m event, he completed the race with a time of 7.27 seconds. At the 110m event, he set a personal best record of 12.81s in 2021, becoming the second-fastest runner. In 2023, he was ranked the world's number one in the 110-meter hurdles.

After turning professional, Grant won three World Championships in 110m hurdles in 2019, 2022, and 2023 with a time of 13.10s, 13.03s, and 12.96s respectively. Grant has achieved remarkable success in 60m hurdles including two gold medals at the World Indoor Championships in 2022 and 2024. He finished first at the World Indoor Tour twice in 60m hurdles. During his collegiate career at the University of Florida, Grant went undefeated in 60-meter hurdles, winning the NCAA Indoor Title three consecutive times from 2017 to 2019. In 2018, Holloway set a new American college record with a time of 7.42 seconds, which he later broke in 2019 with 7.35 seconds.

Holloway's professional career reached new heights on February 24, 2021, when he set the world record in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 7.29 seconds, breaking Colin Jackson's 27-year-old record.
