Su Bingtian of China was looking to add the Continental Cup title along with his Asian Games Gold which he claimed 2 weeks back. Su leads the field in the first 40 meters after which Lyles of the US started to gain momentum and won the race in the last 5 strides in a close finish. Yohan Blake pulled up 70 meters into the race to finish last.
