India's Gulveer Singh won the gold medal in the Men's Cross Country Final with a time of 32:43 seconds on Sunday (October 20). Abhishek Pal and Arun Rathod secured the silver and bronze medals at 32:49s and 32:51s, respectively.
Meanwhile, India's Kartik Kumar finished fourth in the race with a time of 33:16s among 39 athletes.
In the Women's Cross Country Final, Indian athlete Seema bagged the gold medal, finishing the race in 37.20s. Sanjivani Jadhav finished second, falling short just by a few milliseconds, and China's Wuga He secured the bronze medal with a time of 38:02s.
Indian racers Ankita (38:44s) and Sonika (41:14s) finished fourth and 14th, respectively, among 23 participants.
