More recently, Benjamin competed at the 2023 World Championships in Budapest, where he won the bronze in the 400m hurdles event and the gold in the 4*400m event.
In the hurdles, the American won his heat and finished second in the semifinals behind Karsten Warholm to qualify for the final. Here, he finished third behind Warholm and Kyron McMaster of the British Virgin Islands with a timing of 47.56 seconds.
In the relay, Benjamin once again did not run in the heats as the United States finished above everybody to reach the final. The 26-year-old ran in the final as he along with Quincy Hall, Vernon Norwood and Justin Robinson, sealed the gold for the United States.
