During her junior year at the University of Texas. Despite the COVID-19 pandemic canceling the 2020 outdoor season, Tara Davis performed well indoors. At the Big 12 Championships, she was placed second in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.29 and secured fourth in the long jump, leaping 6.17m (20-3). Davis’s 8.30 in the 60m hurdle preliminaries in Ames marked her first collegiate competition since the 2018 NCAA Outdoor Championships after a 629-day absence from the NCAA ranks.
