Veronica Fraley is a professional American discus throw athlete participating in her first Olympics in Paris 2024. She started her athletic career at Wakefield High School where she was named Gatorade Girls Track and Field Athlete of the Year in 2018, winning both the NCHSAA 4A State Championship and New Balance National Championship. In her senior year of prep school, Fraley was dominant in her throws and recorded a state record of 175-9 in 2018.

Veronica Fraley embarked on his collegiate journey at Clemson University where she set a program record in the women’s discus by throwing 56.7m in the 2020 U.S. Olympic trials. After two years with the Tigers, she transferred to Vanderbilt University in 2021.

Fraley holds the Vanderbilt record in discus with a throw of 63.66 meters (208ft 10 inches). The 24-year-old qualified for the 2024 Paris Olympics by winning a bronze medal in the U.S Track and Field Trials in Eugene, Oregon, and has a strong chance of bagging a medal in Paris.
