The Melbourne Storm will aim to return to winning ways when they face the Parramatta Eels on Sunday in Round 11 of the NRL. The two sides will meet at the Suncorp Stadium in what could be a more interesting match than most expect.

The Storm are one of the league’s top teams and have been so for years. They’re yet to lose back-to-back games this season, and this will likely not be the match that changes this record.

Melbourne’s last loss came against the Cronulla Sharks, who beat them by seven points. However, losing to the top ranked team in the league doesn't suggest a drop in form.

The Eels have faced top-eight competition in their last three games and have lost each time. A major reason for their poor performances in recent games has been the absence of Mitch Moses who is recovering from an injury. Parramatta has lost four of the games they’ve played without Moses this season. This game could have a similar outcome for the Eels.

The Storm are the clear favorites to win and rightfully so. Coates will be returning on Sunday, which is a huge boost for their lineup, while the Eels still have to play without Moses.

Parramatta has been performing better recently, but that has not reflected on their results. Against a team like Storm, they will have to put up a flawless performance to pull off the upset. In reality, there’s little chance of that happening, though.
